Chance favors the prepared mind.

Outside work, you can find me training for my next distance running event and practising photography, often on the same outing.

This site runs on m6, the web server and proxy-cache I designed and built. m6 is one integrated stack from Markdown and templating down to the CDN. It treats serving a page the way an HFT execution engine treats an order. I've built a career delivering performance-optimized products, particularly ones where latency is the constraint, and it felt wrong to claim those skills in my CV while running a site that wasn't itself a demonstration of them.
